20th Annual Courtney Hei-Ra Smith Memorial Golf Tournament
The Bristol Soccer Club is pleased to invite you to our 20th Annual Golf Tournament scheduled on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Hawk’s Landing in Southington, CT. This tournament benefits the Courtney Hei‐Ra Smith Memorial Scholarship fund which provides four $1,000.00 scholarships each year to high school students who demonstrate the fundamentals instilled through the BSC program.
Whether you sponsor, golf or make an in‐kind donation, you will support our desire to provide Bristol children with an opportunity to learn and play soccer in a safe, nurturing, and self‐empowering environment. The goal of Bristol Soccer Club is to enable young athletes to grow and develop physically, socially, and emotionally.
Last year we enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, food and prizes this year is expected to surpass last. We hope that you consider participating in our tournament as a golfer, sponsor, donor or combination thereof, and encourage your friends and colleagues to do the same.
Enclosed you will find tournament information along with registration and sponsorship opportunities. The deadline to golf is June 10 and to sponsor is June 1, 2016. We appreciate any and all support for this milestone celebration!

Bristol Soccer Club is pleased to announce spring clinics. These clinics are being organized by our premier partner, CT Rush, and will be held every Friday from April 22nd to May 27th. Clinics will run from 5:30 to 7pm. This is open to ages U9 - U14 and costs $75. Sign up prior to 4/18 to get a discounted price of $50. Registrations received 4/2/16 and after will be added to a waitlist and only added to teams needing additional players.
**Register Early! You may register now and post date your check to 3/11/16 to take advantage of the early bird rates. Mail your check now to the PO box listed below. It will not be cashed until 3/17, and your child is guaranteed a place on a team.
We will do our best to accommodate special requestsentered on registrations dated 1/1/16 thru 3/20/16 in the U06 and U08 Divisions, however cannot guarantee that we can honor all of them. We will be creating our teams based on the number of children registered as of end of day on 3/20, and will be building balanced teams to the best of our ability, to encourage competitive games.

FUNDRAISER INFO: CANDY SALE
We also have a mandatory Candy Fundraiser and funds raised help to maintain the fields and replace equipment. Each FAMILY is asked to either sell two boxes of Hershey's brand candy (52 bars per box) for a total of $104 (paid at candy pickup, and recouped when candy is sold), OR to take the buyout at $52 (for those who do not wish to sell any candy (cost to you is $52)). Candy Pickup Dates are 2/6/16, 3/19/16 and 4/3/16 from 9am -12pm. Candy can be picked up in our concession stand area. Payment of $104 is made at time of pickup, if not done online by credit card, although you may postdate your check to 4/6/2015 to give you a chance to sell the candy before we cash your check. (Travel players aged U15 and older, who do not have younger siblings registered, are not required to participate in the fundraiser.)
*** All Coaches and Assistant Coaches should enter their Volunteer info into the Online Registration system ASAP to be considered for a Coaching position this season. Please do not assume that we know that you are interested in continuing to Coach a team. You cannot be added to a team as a Coach or Assistant Coach without the Volunteer info in the system. Background checks must also be completed. Once both are complete, we are able to assign you to a team.

Any cancelations due to weather or field conditions for any practice, clinic or game will be decided by Bristol Soccer Club, and posted on the scrolling marquee at the top of the page, as soon as the decision is made. If, at the time of registration, you selected to be notified by email or text message, you will also receive that cancelation notification for each team or clinic your child is participating in. Any practice that is to be held with a UK trainer along with your coach, will only be canceled by BSC. (The older children often still play in light rain.) For heavier rain, lightning, etc, BSC reserves the right to cancel all practices no matter the location.)
