Bristol Soccer Club - Player Appreciation Days!

The Bristol Soccer Club would like to extend our thanks for having your child participate in one of the programs we offer by giving the players and coaches a FREE hot dog on October 29th and October 30th between 11:00 – 2:00.

Members of the Board of Directors will be there to meet families and answer any questions you may have about the programs we offer at the club!

Please make a point of stopping to say hello and get a FREE hot dog for your child!

We hope you are all enjoying the fall season and hope to see you all again in the spring!

Sincerely –

Bristol Soccer Club - BOD

Cheesecake Fundraiser - Item Pickup Information

Cheesecake Fundraiser - Pickup

Just a reminder that all cheesecake items will be delivered and available for pickuptomorrow morning between the hours of 9am and 1:30pm. Items will be available for pickup at the soccer club, upstairs in our meeting room.

Please plan on picking up your items tomorrow. We have limited storage and are not able to store items beyond this weekend. If you are unable to pick items up, we ask that you send someone to pick them up for you. Again, as these items generally require refrigeration, we do not have the space required to store unclaimed items.

If you opted for the buyout, and did not sell any items, there is no action needed on your part.

Thank you

CCSU Mens Clinic

The CCSU men's soccer team will be providing a free soccer clinic to the kids in Bristol and surrounding towns @ 5:00 on Thursday October 20, 2016.  The clinic is open to boys and girls and the kids eligible must be in 8th grade or lower.  High school aged kids can not participate in this clinic per NCAA guidelines.
The CCSU team features several local players including three from Plainville (Daquan King, James Thompkins, and Quentin Lux) and players from throughout the United States and the world.  So let's get a nice turnout and welcome them to Bristol and show them some support from the greater Bristol area.
This clinic will last from 5:00 to 6:00.  After the clinic ends, the CCSU men will take the ALS Ice Bucket plunge like the CCSU woman's team did in August at that clinic.  They will be available to sign autographs to team pictures that they will be handing out to the kids who participated in the clinic and talk to kids about their soccer experiences, and hopefully inspire a few kids in attendance to make it to their level.
We are asking that you register on the Bristol Soccer Club website so that we can provide the team an idea on how many kids to expect so that they have drills planned in accordance the the expected attendance.
We will be selling ALS Bucket Challenge t-shirts that we had extra from the summer clinic for $10 each.  Proceeds will go ro the donation that the Bristol Soccer Club will be making for 2016 to the ALS Foundation, which includes the proceeds we raised in August. Donations will be welcomed on the night of the clinic not matter what amount your are able to donate.
Check in for the clinic will start @ 4:00 and you can purchase t-shirts at that time.  Due to day light shortness, we would like to get things started on the clinic by 5:00.  If you can't make it there by 5:00, we can try to slide your child into the clinic while it is going on but please try to be there for the start so your child can get the ful experience of the event.
Teams scheduled to practice on Thursday nights at BSC are being asked to participate in the clinic rather than the practice.  Their training session will be added on November 10th for U8s.  So please register your kids for the clinic if you normally practice at BSC on Thursday nights.
Any questions, please email me at   of call my cell 860-205-4174
Thank you for your support and hope your kids have a wonderful experience.

BSC Treasurer

Pink Sock Sale - Support Breast Cancer Research
Pink Socks for Breast Cancer Awareness
Bristol Soccer Club will be selling socks for $10 a pair at the concession during the month of October.
Profit above the cost BSC paid to obtain the socks will be donated along with the proceeds raised by Bristol Central and Bristol Eastern during the soccer matches they play against each other to this national fundraiser. They raffle off baskets during their matches to raise money.
The Bristol Soccer Club will also have a bucket at the concession at the club for anyone just wanting to make a donation that we will collect during October and donate with the profit from the sock sales.
Thank you for your support.
